He held the Position as the Director of UCL Logistics, which is a subsidiary of the well-known Expolanka Group of Companies. In Sri Lanka logistics industry, Jayantha also serves as the Sectorial Head in Logistics at National Chamber of Exporters (NCE) and through these initiatives, Liyanagamage has enabled Sri Lanka to gain global recognition in the field of Transportation and Logistics, particularly related to freight forwarding utilizing his knowledge and expertise in the field.
